Active Remote I/O—Realtime-ize Your Ethernet DA&C Systems

If your Ethernet data acquisition and control system requires real-time I/O data, then the new "Active Remote I/O" products from MOXA have a solution. Compared to what's been available up to now, the Active Remote I/O solution provides more possibilities for real-time data acquisition, active I/O messaging, and local logic control.

You can integrate Active Remote I/O input signals into one event to form an integrated message, and set up local output control at the same time. This provides more concise and efficient communication between the host computer and I/O devices. In addition, the message delivery time is 20 times faster than traditional SCADA systems (50 ms compared to 1 sec).

Beyond Redundant Rings

Moxa's innovative Turbo Chain is used to easily construct more complex redundant networks by linking two user-confgured end ports within the same segment. Interoperability with any type of redundant protocols, such as RSTP/STP, allows Turbo Chain to fawlessly integrate into any existing Ethernet network. When there is a link failure, the blocked port returns to the forwarding state to ensure minimal network disruption. Compared to traditional ring coupling, Turbo Chain requires fewer coupling cables and Ethernet ports, greatly reducing deployment costs. Turbo Chain is available in all Moxa's managed Ethernet switches, which provide a solid basis for forming multiple redundant Ethernet connections with fast fault recovery, fexible topology construction, unlimited network expansion, and cost-effective confguration.
