SenzaBlock คือ adapters ที่สามารถเชื่อมต่อกับ sensors, instruments, meters and actuators ได้ สามารถส่งข้อมูลและคำสั่งผ่านระบบ wireless (ในขณะเดียวกันยังได้ถูกออกแบบมาให้ทำงานคล้ายกับคอมพิวเตอร์ขนาดเล็ก ซึ่งสามารถประมวลผลจัดการ เช่น calibration, linearization and interpretation ของสัญญาณควบคุม นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นฮาร์ดแวร์ที่ใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้าต่ำและ tightly time-synchronized wakeup cycles อีกทั้งยังสามารถทำงานโดยใช้ไฟผ่านแบตเตอรี่ได้หลายปี และมี interface ให้เลือกใช้งานได้หลากหลาย เช่น analog, digital and pulse signals, multiple enclosure และ antenna option)

• รองรับ Externally powered (12 – 24 VDC) หรือทำงานโดยใช้ไฟจากแบตเตอรี่ภายใน (3VDC) ได้นานหลายปี
• สื่อสาร แบบ Real-time และมี time synchronization สำหรับโหนดทั้งหมด จึงสามารถมั่นใจได้ว่า time stamping มีความถูกต้องแน่นอน
• Embedded SenzaNET software สามารถ logging, reporting, triggers/alarms, over-the-air configuration และตรวจสอบภาพแบอเตอรี่ได้
• เมื่อใช้งาน SenzaBlock จะช่วยประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายในส่วนการเดินสายเคเบิลแบบเดิม
